You need a new TT. You keep bringing up, and promising us you'll make the Quattro Concept. How have these two cars not just been merged yet?

Seriously. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the TT-RS is (was) the modern incarnation of the Quattro. Just pull the trigger already!

Agreed. The TT has always been a good looking car, however it had a certain femininity that kept me from really wanting one. The Quattro concept has no such issues. It would be perfect.

I think it's the perfect compromise. The smaller platform would help keep weight down without costly material investment and, as you said, solve a lot of the TT's image problems as a "woman's" car. And if they reall want, they can name the top model the Qua-TT-ro

I wonder how badly it would canabalize A5/S5 sales if it just looked like a smaller A5

It doesn't have to. I'm picturing something like the concept shown above, but with a tidier and more rounded front and back to make it more TT-esque.

I would say that would properly differentiate it from the 5. The A/S5 is a more traditional design for a more traditional buyer. Making a smaller version wouldn't cannibalize 5 sales so much as it might just repel the TT faithful.
